at sheffield arena

it was great we had the front row, but unfortunatly also had narrow minded idiots behind us (mum dad two boys two girls) who swore at the ice skaters all the way through as well as describing in graphic detail how they should die, so I now have an 8 year old wanting to know what a machete is, great

why do these people go to things like this, tonight they managed to ruin four little girls birthday treat,

just wish we couldve had a peaceful time

vent over

That's terrible :sad2: I'm sorry you had to go through that. :grouphug: I agree with you, I have no idea why these people go to these things?

Despite having idiots behind you did you like the show?

My niece went with my sister a couple of weeks ago and she loved it even though she was (and I quote!) "very very high up"!

Thats absolutely disgusting. Its strange how different families have different standards.
My DH and DS have season tickets at Old Trafford.. in the family stand.. and the parents are always swearing in front of their own kids! Appalling and just so unneccessary!
But to go to a childrens show like Disney on Ice (we went to Toy Story on Ice.. years ago), and behave like that is unbelievable. You dread to think what kids like that will turn out like when they are older? I hope you complained?
What a shame.
Tracy

I'd have went and attracted the attention of a steward. Shame that girls treat was spoiled :guilty:

Oh Anna that is just too terrible. I find it incredible that these people have paid £180 to behave like that. :confused3

:grouphug: for you and your party, hope you managed to enjoy some of the show despite this appalling behaviour.

I hope you still managed to enjoy the show - quite why the family behind bothered going I don't know :confused3

I complained at the interval and they said they would watch them (like thats any good they wouldn't have been able to hear them as they stood by the stairs, my sister was fuming so I had to take her seat directly in front of the dad (we put jordan there as well as she wouldn't have understood what was said) but joely had to sit there too.

by the end I was bright red and annoyed, I went straight back to the same attendant, who got a supervisor, I explained that I didn't think they had helped at all and they tried to fob me off, which I didn't take. I had to go fill a form in about the complaint so i guess I am waiting for a reply. We already arn't going next year due to it being so close to us going to Florida.

I just can't believe how awful they were,

the girls did enjoy the show, Jordan tapped me all the way through she was so excited

Sorry that your night was ruined. :(

At least the show was good! :thumbsup2

What a shame that these people had to ruin the it for you ~ thank goodness the girls enjoyed the show

At least the girls enjoyed the show. I'm amazed that people would pay that amount of money to make those sort of comments throughout the show.

What an appalling and upsetting situation, Anna! :grouphug: Well done you for complaining - I hope you get some form of compensation. Glad it didn't affect the girls' enjoyment of the show...

Some people  what a shame they spoilt your enjoyment. Glad the girls enjoyed it

How awful for you Anna :grouphug: , I guess those horrible people don't like Disney or Ice skaters, You'd have thought they'd have figured it out prior! I mean. Disney on Ice is a bit of a giveaway

Hi

I would speak to the venue directly and ask to speak to the Manager and demand my money back. Explain what had happened how traumatised your daughter is by what was being said. The stewardess should of got management and asked them to leave. If no luck by phone write a letter of complaint.
