Went to buy the Itouch yesterday and

the kid at BestBuy told me they are expecting an announcement on wednesday for the newest Itouch.........it will be more gb, have a camera and a price drop.
he suggested i wait til wednesday to buy one..........so I am waiting.
I hope his prediction is correct
anyone else hear a rumour about a 3rd generation Itouch?

Yes, I've read the same. Its been reported in some tech magazine and online. I even saw a pic of the new one, of course it could have been an old one saying its a new one and I'd have no clue

Yes, there will be an announcement re. the new iPod Touch soon. You might check a site like macrumors.com (one of my favorites ) or possibly ilounge.com for more details and/or possible leaked photos of the new device.

oh cool! DH and I want to buy one but looks like we will be waiting! I wonder if the camera is a video camera....
