DVC members and AP pass holders were offered 2 hour preview sessions. I'm not sure if other groups were offered a preview and I am not sure if there are any openings left. For the preview period you will get a fast pass for a 15 minute window to enter Flight of Passage. It is a shortened queue but still a decent hike to get to the ride. We waited maybe 5 minutes once we reached the ride area. A cast member will place people in 4 different lines and then count people off to enter a small room and stand on a number. You get an intro and then enter into another room for further instructions. It doesn't feel claustrophobic since everyone stands on a number and are not clustered together like in Test Track or Dinosaur. From that room you enter into a long room with what looks like the motorcycle arcade games evenly spaced apart. You get on like you would a motorcycle. When everyone is situated they ask you to lean forward and press your chest against a forward "pad" and to position your feet slightly forward (I've seen some types of motorcycles with similar foot placement). They tell you when the restraint is coming up from the back and positions against the lower back area. After reading previous things about the restraint system being uncomfortable I was not sure what to expect but it was very comfortable. I didn't even feel the calf restraint but moved my leg backward a little and was able to feel that it indeed was in place. I would compare the ride to a cross between Soarin and Mission Space. The ride vehicle leans to the right, left and I think up & down with the motion on the screen (one large screen like Soarin, not individual screens like Mission Space). There are small screens at the front of each ride vehicle with pre-ride instructions. The ride opened with a sudden extreme "movement" but I was quickly able to convince myself I wasn't moving much but it was the movie. The rest of the ride is like you'd expect. I'm not in great physical shape and debated if I would be able to enjoy the ride but it was awesome.
If anyone wants to add or clarify anything I'm sure others would appreciate it. They told us no photography or video recording at this time. I tried to find a POV on the internet and this explains why.
