Our local Wendy's Restaurant drives me up the wall!!!!

You go through the drive thru place your order, proceed to the window. They are hanging out the window with change and you haven't even paid thme yet. They anticipate how much you will give them. Then off to the next window where they are hanging out the window with your food. I HATE TO BE RUSHED!!!!!! You ask for ketchup and you would think you just asked for the managers first born!!!! I asked them to throw away a cup for me (from McDonalds) They told me NO! It was concidered cross contamination. So I just dropped it on the ground in front of them. No, I am not a butt hole. Well, I can be at times. I get so tired of this. If I didn't like their food so much I would stop going there.

I know they try and offer fast service and all that, but man don't they realize that this ticks people off and they will do things just to stay on their timer and run it up.

I don't eat at Wendy's anymore, too many refined carbohydrates there to tempt this WISHer

Their Jr. Cheeseburger deluxe with no ketchup or roll is surprisingly tasty, and so is there ceasar side salad (with no croutons of course!)
However.. they hardly ever get an order right the first time!

I love our Wendy's!! No complaints about their service here...
I especially like their mandarin chicken salad, yum!!!

BTW, I don't blame them for not throwing away your McDonald's cup...really, why should they?? Now maybe if it was a Wendy's cup they would have!!

Well this is a first, i have never heard someone complain on fast service until now....

When i'm on lunch break thats just how i like it FAST FAST FAST, by the way I sure hope you are not teaching your kids to litter

It terms of the money, they are probably trying to be efficent.

I am not sure why the ketchup should be a problem.

Empty cup, they usually have garbage cans all around.

I have so many significant things in my life that can cause stress, that I really try hard not to sweat the small stuff.

Ketchup contains a lot of sugar, and is very high in carbs for those of us on Atkins. I don't care for it much anyway, so it isn't one of the things I miss.

Now that the weather is cooler, I'll be back at our local Wendy's for their chilli. I really like it for .99. Service has always been good.
Sorry, Mhopset, but really your cup(or anyone elses) would have "germs", and if they threw everyone's garbage away, think how often they would have to stop and wash their hands. Service would really be slow then.

mhopset....you are truly one in a million! Complaining about fast service, through a drive thru at a fast food establishment....

Honestly though, if you don't want to feel rushed...then go inside, they are usually not so quick inside...

I love my Wendy's just for that fact, of thier quick service....

Now for your other complaints...they shouldn't get upset if you ask for ketchup.....and as throwing away your cup.....I guess it could be considered cross contamination.....but I did it for 10 years at Taco Bell, we used to even keep dog treats for the dogs in the cars that came through...The Guest really loved that, and the dogs of course! But I haven't been in the regular fast food business for 5 years, and with stiffer health laws, it could be prohibited now. And just throwing it out on the ground.....that is just NOT NICE. I guess you wasn't having one of those "Disney Days".

Life is too short to get upset over little things. Stay cool!

I get a kick out of the girl that hangs out the window with change at our Wendy's. But they don't hang out with the food. I never stopped to think about cross contamination, but they're right! Would you like someone in the car in front of you to hand them some piece of garbage, then they touch your bag, cups, etc. with those hands? Not me! Good for them! Boo, hiss on the other places!

Our Wendy's is very efficient and the food is quite good. Only Chik-Fil-A is up there with them.

I miss the fries! I'll sometimes get a salad there or a burger and discard the bun.
