Katie Couric just made her big announcement. I know a lot don't care for her, but I do. I thought she had a great connection with people and was always sincere, serious and sweet when need be. So.....now that there is a seat open on the couch sitting next to Matt Lauer....

I am sad too....it is comforting watching Kaite, Matt and Ann in the morning. I REALLY don't like Meredith Viera, so I hope she is not chosen as Katie's replacement. I like Campbell Brown - or promote Ann Curry!
