Well what the heck!!!!

I'm finally moving to Florida and its just as cold down there as up here! This is so not fair!!!

:rotfl:

But the days are so beautiful! And wait until you have a SUMMER this is really pleasant weather to me. Where in Florida are you moving?

Sounds like everyone is doing great! It's so nice to read great things.

Doing awesome!

4's! Congratulations on the job offer and the move. I wish you guys the best.

Thanks Teva! We are very excited about it. It's going to be tough to be away from family, but we'll figure something out. I think I'm going to need a good credit card with air miles!

We are moving to Palm Harbor and we'll take our time to look around at all the surrounding areas to decide where to plop down on a more permanent level. We don't plan to buy right away though.

Well welcome to the Sunshine State!!!

looks like it will warm up to the 70's jst in time for me to get there!! I won't be missing the 24 degrees out we ahve here this morning! Heck, I walked out to the car wiht the boys to go to school and said, "Wow it is really nice out here today. Not too cold !" Then I saw that it was 24 degrees and still think it is a pretty nice day out. I was just out there with a light sweatshirt and no shoes.

Serves you right..:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Enjoy your move.. Believe me, it will warm up..:thumbsup2

Awwww Im so happy to hear the boys are doing so well. And I'm sure they'll be more than happy to go "home" to Florida instead of the frozen tundra.

We are moving to D.C. because Matt has received a promotion in October and then received a position at the Pentagon. Supposedly 4 years nondeployable!:cool1: I asked him if he could go on short TDY's when he gets on my nerves:rotfl: We report to the new place in just 4 months:eek:

Yo tina...that's awesome news:thumbsup2

Sorry 4's...haven't seen Tina in a bit...back on topic:lmao:

Yup, I'm a couple of hours north of Orlando and our low will be 29 tonight! Luckily it won't stay cold long (*** another poster mentioned) 'cause I'm sick of it already. Temperatures in the 50s and 60s--yes!! Love it. Temps in the teens, 20s, 30s----nooooooooo.

Florida is green, glorious, and gorgeous. Hope you end up loving FLorida as much as I do. :goodvibes

Hi from a Florida newbie! So new I had to look up Palm Harbor and you will be just North of us. We are in Riverview, guess you can call it a suburb of Tampa.

Twice this week I was told this is very unusual weather and that it normally isn't this cold until the end of December or January. During the day it is really nice.

I was just telling my mother how strange it is that we don't have heaters in our bathroom. Nor do we have a fireplace. Guess they figure it is hot enough not to need them. :confused3
