Well, we're off to the pediatrican & then for x-rays, then..

probably to an orthopedist (sp?). All because DS 10 slipped running up the stairs in his socks and jammed two fingers. Poor guy is in some pain.

We're back. After 4 hours in doctors' offices - turns out it was nothing more than a bad sprain. What a relief! The 3 middle fingers are taped together (for the next week).

Sounds like my last Friday.. however my daughter came home from the drs. with a cast.

Well that's good (sorta) news. I hope he heals up quickly. Nothing worse than a kid in pain.

Thanks for the well wishes. He seems fine - unless he moves the wrong way - he found he can still play video games if he uses the steering wheel. That makes him happy. Of my three guys (DH included) DS1 is the least likely to whine when he doesn't feel well.
Cindy, I hope your daughter isn't feeling any pain. Hope it's not her writing hand - I was concerned about DS not being able to write for the first month of school.
