We leave at 6 in the morning for the big WDW. We are so excited. We are driving though (keep us in your prayers that we can find gas along the way)

I just want to thank everyone on these boards for all of the wonderful advice. I don't post that much, but I have gotten so many helpful hints and words of advice from reading these boards.

Hopefully when I get back I will have some useful information to pass on to people who will be leaving after me

We are on our way...started out from southern IL this morning and made our way through KY and TN - we are in Macon GA tonight.....no signs of price gouging for gas....the most we paid was $3.08.....we gassed up in TN b/c of the horror stories we were hearing about in GA - gas was actually cheaper in GA than TN this morning!!

One gas station was low on gas and the other was out of regular grade gas tonight - but the price for mid grade is actually cheaper than home....so we are pretty pleased.

We have seen emergency vehicles heading to the gulf....I found out that my best friends left for her brothers in MS this morning - so he must have been hit pretty hard (her cell phone wont work so I dont know the details and it's killing me!)..my prayers out to you all....
