Well this is an original Prom arrival

Coonhound, no disrespect to you and please don't take this as a snark, because it is not intended: but when I saw the above my mind went back to the movie Footloose.

Some of ya'll would have had a clutching pearls moment with the Homecoming Queen we had in my school who had 3 different chaperones, lol.

Ok now I'm curious...why did she have 3 dates? Did they take a homecoming picture first, did she take a separate photo with each or was it like everyone together like one of those polygamist family portraits? Did they all bring her a corsage, so she had to wear all 3, or do they all just chip in for one? Did they dance in a circle holding hands, or did she dance with one at a time? Who got to be the homecoming king?

no polygamy portraits, but I just almost choked on my water.

Ok, so... She had 3 different chaperones( the first 2 were her friends, the last was her boyfriend who was out of school)
1 was the chaperone for the Homecoming Pep Rally
1 was the chaperone for the Homecoming Foot ball game
the last one was for the Homecoming Dance

So, it made our little high school newspaper and yearbook
She was actually very nice. She has had her own realty company here in the area for years.

As for Homecoming King, I can't even remember, lol. I may have to take a look at my yearbook, because all the spot light was on her.

Hmmm...you'd think I'd find this idea "fun". I once went to a Halloween party at a funeral home with the refreshments set up around a casket containing an embalmed body. Boyfriend at the time was on call nights and week-ends and he threw the party, without the consent (of course!) of the funeral director. But...as you get older, you view things differently and I think what the young lady did was tasteless. And yes, when young, I was tasteless too.

Embalmed body? OMG! I don't do well with dead bodies, seriously. I found my mom, I did better then I expected but still.

Now, back in the day before people could afford big funerals , I know they would put the body on the kitchen table of the home or have a big send off with the body in the room. but noooo.
