well, this is a great start!!

We left home (Oklahoma) friday evening at about 6 pm. we stopped last night in Flagstaff, and it snowed, and snowed, and snowed. they closed I-40, so we are staying here another night. We were supposted to be in Disneyland this afternoon. But, this is a great hotel. we have a 2 room suite, free internet, 2 tv's, free hot breakfast, and several good restaurants in walking distance. It could be worse. I called The Camelot Inn and Suites and they adjusted our dates so we wiil still get our full time at Disney, so that worked out well. I guess I will read my kindle and play cards with my family today! Not too bad for being stuck!!!

I'm sorry for the unexpected hiccup in your plans but you are taking it very well which is really nice to see.

I'm glad you were able to rearrange your dates at DL, yay!

Well, I figure it can't be helped, so we may as well have a good attitude about it. Would I rather be in Disneyland? Of course!! But, at least I get to go... some people will be at work this week!!

Nice hotel! We got stuck in Lordsburg, NM, after we left Disneyland when they closed I-10 due to snow. We got the last two hotel rooms in town at the SEEDIEST little motel we've ever stayed in, but we were happy to not be in the car like the rest of the people sleeping in their COLD cars.

We also got stuck on Labor Day on I-15 in Hesperia, just 45 minutes from Disneyland, due to a brush fire in the Cahon Pass. No kidding. That was soooooooooooooo aggravating. To be so close and yet just sitting in the middle of the freeway. We eventually worked our way around and got to Disneyland 4 hours late!

But, as you say, some people had to work! I hope the rest of your trip goes well and you are soon enjoying yourselves in the parks!

Yes, weird storm hit us here in AZ today. It hailed here in Tucson! Crazy. Should be a bit more clear tomorrow though. Hope the rest of your trip is great!
