Well, this could be interesting (October 2013) **Updated 8/31**

Joining in and looks like a fun trip.

My advice would be to go to the MNSSHP on a day you feel your DS will be fully rested. I that is that first ay I would go for it. It is a great time and lots of fun, but you want to stay on the move to get a lot in that night.

I did a one day trip with my daughter in 2011 and it was a whirlwind. She was5 and did great but by the end of the MNSSHP she crashed on the boat back to the bus depot to head to the hotel.

The party has so much fun: Princes meet with the Princess (Flynn Rider!!), All 7 dwarfs are out, there are character dance parties and lines are so so short so you could ride a favorite quickly.

If he is great after a nap I would do it on that first night...what an amazing first night at Disney.

We've had a lot of things come up and some of them have even changed our plans. I just did online check in this week and I can't believe we're coming up on our 45 day mark!

:-D

So let's start with an updated *Brief* schedule of the trip, shall we? My goal is to update each date with a more specific post that I'll link back to the date.

10/22 - Pick up and pack rental car

10/23 - Get up (heck who am I kidding...I won't be able to sleep for long at all) and get on the road. Arrive south of Atlanta for the night.

10/24 - Drive to Bradenton Florida (near Tampa) to spend the day/night with a good friend and her family. Go to the beach and introduce H and DS to the Gulf.

Friday - 10/25 - Head towards Orlando and check into Pop Century. (Early) dinner at Pop Century and head to MNSSHP for the night.

Saturday - 10/26 - Sleep in (a little) and head to AK for the morning, leave after lunch and head to MK in order to catch MSEP and Wishes

Sunday - 10/27 - MK day

Monday - 10/28 - Epcot day

Tuesday -10/29 - MK day

Wednesday - 10/30 - DHS in the morning and Epcot EMH

Thursday - 10/31 - Epcot Day

Friday - 11/1 - Check out day and head to south Georgia to spend time with my in-laws

Saturday - 11/2 - Potentially spend day with in-laws, potentially continue trek towards home. H doesn't want to treat his family like a hotel, I don't want to make a 14 hour drive home in one day.

Sunday - 11/3 - Home again home again!

Today is going to be a busy post day, lots to catch up on!

NOTE: Some might notice that we only have documented FP+ for this day. We have a FP+ for KS, but with the touringplans.com, they suggest doing KS earlier in the day (ours is much later) and so I'm going to be trying to secure FP+ that fit our plan better. We do have 3 FP+, but only 2 that we'll probably use. H isn't into Dinosaur and while I *May* ride it, it's not a priority by any means.

Pretty much like the last day at MK, Today will be used just for enjoying what Epcot has to offer, hitting favorites, catching things we missed before, but if all else fails, it'll simply be to really explore and take in everything that World Showcase has to offer.

DS and I just finished a Color Me Rad 5k "race" last weekend and we had a BLAST!

He did a GREAT job!

Your plans look awesome and so much fun.

I know you will have a blast at the MNSSHP...just a lot of fun delights to enjoy.

We watched the parade on Main street which was great for the headless horsemen coming. It was right after we met the princesses so timing was perfect, but I am guessing they will be in new fantasyland this time so not the same location.

When we did this the Mickey/Minnie line moved very quickly. I think they actually had two rooms going with different sets of costumes, but we got the witch orange black and green ones... awesome.

The plans look great so far. It really is coming up fast!

Congrats on the run with your DS! :thumbsup2
