I just got home and the phone rings. I look at the caller ID and it says American Red Cross. Well with a son in Afghanistan what do you think flies through my head in a split second. I was so afraid to answer the phone.
Turns out they were conducting a survey from a call he made while he was home. His Grandma got very sick while he was home on leave and he called the RC to get an emergency message to his commander in Afg.
Needless to say I was quite relieved, but gee.....don't scare me like that!
