Our neighbour just came over to play and he came in with ds. The first thing he did was take off his shoes and come in to the office and said " Hello Mrs.N### how are you today?" I said "Im well thank you, how was your Christmas?" He said " It was wonderful thanks. How was yours?"

I might that this boy is ELEVEN!!!!!



After all the stories of bad mannered children ( and I know my share of them as well) I thought I would add in a positive story!

Our son had one friend that was always polite like that - as he got older (in high school) he was a bit of trouble, but not too bad - and was still always polite. On prom night we were called down to the police station to pick up our son (who was there with about a dozen other kids), there was polite boy, smiling and greeting us with his wonderful manners. When talking to each other dh and I always referred to him as "Eddie Haskell".
