Well she knows!

Oh wow it was so funny this morning. She unwrapped a small binder with passporter envelopes in it. Each one was written on with things like Jan. 8th, 3am wake up, 4am shuttle to airport,etc..... Day 1 - Disneyland,etc....
and I had put disney stickers all over the pages. She read it and closed it and said 'That is a cute story Mom'. She thought I had written her a book about a pretend trip to Disneyland! She had NO clue she was actually going. It didn't sink in. So I said "But its a TRUE story....we really are going in 2 wks!". Well she was completely in shock - she opened her mouth like she was going to scream, but nothing came out......she just sat there - in complete shock. It was priceless. I had my camera ready but did not get 'that' shot I thought i would.....I got a look of shock (I will upload later). Then she just lunged at me, wrapped her arms around me and started to cry and shake uncontrollably. It was so adorable! I have one very excited 8 yr old girl!

Awwwww....that is so great! I'm so glad that she loved her gift. Merry Christmas...post the pic soon....and have a fabulous trip!!

Hi, I thought about you this morning because I knew how excited you were to tell your little girl. I'm glad she's ecstatic! We'll see ya there, we will be checking in the night of the 6th at the same hotwire hotel you are at, I'm the one with two little blonde haired boys (ages 2 & 4), husband, and great grandmother. Now let's hope for some sunshine!

Funny thing how this message board can really affect your life, I thought about you all day! Kept thinking I needed to get up to my computer and see if you had posted. Yeah, I did but I accidently deleted it and hadn't had time to look up your username because of finals and Christmas!!!! Sorry. I'm getting excited to go but am dreading the drive. My boys don't really know we are going yet, because they could hardly survive the suspense of Christmas You might want to PM me your # again because of the above mishap.
