Hi,
Well my princess/girlfriend left for the airport 45 minutes ago and in less than 4 hours, she will be on her way to Italy for 2 weeks.
While I'm very excited for her, and I know not only is this a great opportunity, but she will also have a great time, I'm a little sad. I won't beable to see her again until she gets back on 6/15 and since we started dating we have either seen each other or talked on a daily basis.
I know it's only for 16 days and that the time will fly by fast, but it doesn't make missing her go away.
I guess I will just have to find stuff to keep me busy while she is gone, like plan our Wisconsin Dells trip for Labor Day weekend and things like that.

I'll tell you exactly what to say when she calls you, are you ready? Say "ciao bella". She'll love it. It means hello or goodbye beautiful. I know its hard for you, but what an amazing opportunity for her. My son absolutely fell in love with this country and wants to go back. She'll be home before you know it.

These are the ones who come home with horror stories of theft and never want to return to Italy.
