Well, I've got a question!

What is the difference between a man's electric shaver and a woman's electric shaver??? Is there any reason why a woman cannot/should not use a man's shaver on her legs?

This is a serious question........there are SO many products on the market for men...and very few good products for women!

The only difference I have ever seen in the color. Their all made to shave hair, so I can't see how they are so different that a man needs one kind while a woman needs another.

Although, I use men's razor blades for my shaving needs. I found through years of trying to find a good razor that all the "womens" razors just knicked and cut me like crazy. The men's razors aren't so bad at that for me.

Thing which confuses me-women have a gazillion ways to remove hair (shaving, nair-ing, waxing, sugaring, threading, etc). Men...shave.

I believe that leg hair is thicker than facial hair.

Well, I may regret admiting this but I have been using a mens electric razor for years! I used numerous women's and hated all of them. Not a smooth shave, a pain and broke easily.

On vacation out of desperation I used DH's once it was so much better! Those 3 rotating blades are the best! He did make me go and buy my own though.

I don't know what the difference could be. Both faces and legs are skin and I would think the more you shave either the courser the hair would get. My cousin once used mine to shave her legs and she didn't complain and it didn't seem to hurt the razor.

My guess is that it's more about marketing than any real difference. I once read that a certain product was exactly the same for men and women except the box was pink for the women.

Perhaps someone on here works for a razor company and can clear this up.

A looong time ago, I had a woman's version, you had to plug it in and it didn't work well. Didn't like it, never used it.
About 8 years ago I tried DH's and loved it. So he bought me a "girlie" version the same brand as his, for xmas. It was packaged really cute, pink and came with lotion. Worthless!!!! Hated it. It didn't actually shave...so for my bday, he bought me the same model he had and I love it!
It's such a quick and easy process, no cuts, no water wasting, no clean up. Once in a while you empty it and recharge the battery.
