Well it's official!!!!

I got a job!!!! Woo Hoooooo!!! After 10 months of looking I found something really awesome and I start on Monday!!! I'm excited but sad at the same time, I've really enjoyed being home but I'm ready to go back to work. My new boss is being really awesome, he's OK with the time off we'd already planned for DL next month and for DD23's wedding in August. Of course that was non-negotiable but I thought he might have a problem with time off in May. It's a really small office, only me doing customer service for the whole company and only my boss above me (besides corporate on the east coast and the owners) and a few warehouse workers. I get an office of my own with windows too!!!! lol No more cubicle for me...I hated the cubicle, an office will be so much better!! And corporate will be sending someone out from the east coast to help train me. So I start next week so I'll be here a lot less, working M-F from 8-4:30, commuting 10 minutes from home (previous commute was 40-60 min)!!!!! I'm happy and going out with friends tonight to celebrate. Just thought I'd let everyone know because a lot of you were pulling for me to get something awesome!

Yeah for you! It sounds amazing! Your own office and time off when you need it! I wouldn't like a cubical either. I have a very large "office". Of course, I have to share it with 12 three year olds everyday!

Thanks everyone!! My first day went very well! There's a lot to learn but I have confidence in my abilities.
I did the cubicle thing at my last job...hated it, this job is much more relaxed!!

I know!!! I already have my Minnie Mouse mug that girls gave me that shows her watering flowers that spell "Mom" (it was a Mother's Day gift) and my mug that has Eeyore on it too, I have another one with the Princesses on it that I'm considering taking in. It's fun...and with the windows this office has I am so taking in some plants, I just thought I might let at least a week go by before I take in too much stuff.

That's kind of what I thought...wait until they know me a little better before I drive them INsane with the Disney stuff! LOL I have picked out 2 plants I'm taking from home tho and DD11 and I have a couple of clay pots we are going to paint for me to take in.

I would be tempted to grow some herbs, I love how some of the plants smell.
