Well, I messed up...

I was suppose to call in my deposit by today, but my mind has been elsewhere. My oldest daughter just had my second grandchild last week, and I completely lost track of the date. I just tried to call WDW but the reserv. office is closed. Today, the 18th, was the deadline date. I hope that my needed rooms will be there in the morning. I'm so frustrated with myself.

The sounds like something that would happen to me. We are so overloaded in our minds we let things slip away. Good luck, hopfully then also forgot you had a deposit due. Let us know how you make out.

Usually the reservations are not cancelled right away. They may go into a holding location. I am sure if you call right away this morning, it will still be there.

Congratulations on your new grandchild. Don't be frustrated with yourself. With all of the excitement, you did good to remember it at all.
I called once and mine had been cancelled, but she looked to see if she was able to retrieve it and she was. If it has been cancelled and she doesn't offer to look, ask her to look.

The reservation was cancelled, but thankfully they had all the information still. It is quite a process to give them everyone ages and basically start from scratch. She did make a new reservation, and I would have had a couple of weeks to make the deposit. I, of course, made the deposit right then and there.

Unlike last time, I did request non-smoking room and hopefully Bldg. 14. I asked if she wanted me to request it closer to the date by contacting the resort, and she said that she would love to have it placed on my reservation. She was so helpful!
