I just got my call from my TA. They are switching me from AKL. But, I did get a graden view room at the GF. I guess I can deal with a little bit of an upgrade. I will miss the animals, but I guess we will stay at AKL next time.

while it's a shame that you're being moved from your choice of resorts, think of it as a gift to stay at one of the most desired resorts and also as a reason to go back again to stay at AKL!!!

Yes, I totally sympathize. I jump every time my phone rings. I hope they don't call me. I try to tell myself that if they call and I can get GF or Poly that it would be a good deal, but I would just be disappointed. We're supposed to stay there Aug. 17 - 24.

We check into to AKL on Aug 26. We also can't change our vacation because we are doing the Wonder right before. I am soooo hoping I don't get a call. I have no desire to stay at any of the Epcot resorts, they do nothing for me. I also don't want SSR, or GF. If I get a phone call, I am afraid it is going to be really bad as far as options go.

If you are staying at all in august only, because they are putting in steel beams into the ground that is going to shake all of the surounding buildings. So this is a new story I have not heard yet so I guess we will see what is going on I plan on going there just see what is going on when I am there.

It's funny (or maybe NOT) but everyone gets a different line about why they are moving supposedly everyone out of AKL, at least ours is similar. I was told that I had no choice and would have to move "due to core cement drilling" I actually wrote it down while talking to CM so I wouldn't forget her wording!! I asked if I could move to a different part of the resort that wouldn't be affected by the drilling and she said no for safety reasons.
