Well I finally posted my trip report!

Great trip report - looks like you had a great time!! Thanks for sharing!

Loved your trip report!

I also loved the format, kept me interested. I had to laugh at your dh, your key, your video camera :rotfl: poor guy

Glad to hear you had a great time

Great report! Loved the format you used. :goodvibes

Quick question ... just curious on how is Disney handling this:

beware mug violators. They were seriously cracking down on mug violators

I always laugh when I see people with the Big Gulp paper cups filling up. :lmao:

And did you pay extra for your Trundle? Was it guaranteed to be there since there were 5 of you? I have requested the Bayou section for August, and was hoping for a trundle so that my DD and DS don't have to sleep together. They're still young enough to do this, but they fight about being on each other's sides of the bed. :rolleyes1

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. :thumbsup2

Great report!

15 Earl Sandwiches! What did you do with all the fountain drinks?

I'm still dreaming of the day my DS3 can ride Soarin.

They always hold the trundle for families of five first. You can request one ahead of time however. If one is available when you check in you can again request it. If you are a family of five it is technically guaranteed. If for some reason one was not when you checked in they would have to figure it out on their end. We confirmed approx a week before arrival to make sure.
Mug violators. Anyone who came into that food court with a non POR valid mug was being called on it and told the mugs could not be refilled there. They watched people like a hawk. I saw WL mugs, All Star Sports mugs, Pop mugs you name it! They finally started clamping down when people were bringing mugs from other hotels, refilling and visiting the hotel and grounds. I believe they tolerate a small amount but people who openly boast about it sure got told! You should of seen the looks on these peoples faces when they were called on it. These people were absolutely stammering trying to explain why they were there with another hotel mug. Not trying to scare anyone. I just want everyone to know that what was happening while we were there. I believe and wish you could be able to re-use an old por mug maybe with a sticker...less waste but showing up with another hotel mug is probably drawing the line. The majority of people are following policy and buying a new mug.hth

Thanks for the info on the trundles. It's no big deal if I don't get one, but it would be kinda nice. :)

I can't imagine how embarrassed people with other mugs must have been. :lmao: Now if ONLY Disney would find an equally effective way of dealing with smokers outside of designated areas. With the recent food court rehab, is it like CSR where you have to ask someone to fill your mug? Or do they still have the self-serve islands? I hope it's still the islands. When we stayed at OKW last year, you had to stand in line at the outdoor CS place to get your mug refilled. It was a royal pain in the behind.

The first trip to the food court is always an expensive one with 4 mugs to purchase ... but we do get our use out of them for sure. :thumbsup2

It is still self serve. Very little disruption, just the platters and limited grab and go selections. I just wish they had juice or milk for the kids.

Great report and great format. Glad you had such a fantastic time - I think I'll "borrow" your format when I write mine in a two months!
