I am actually staying at a different resort. We are going to try the Contemporary. Garden view room for $179.00. I hope its good.

Does anyone know if the Cont has a coffeemaker and hairdyer in the room.

They do have a hairdryer in the room but no coffeemaker. I believe you can ask for one from housekeeping though.

Ah Buzz, I know you're disappointed! But think, now you'll be able to compare a deluxe resort to a moderate. You'll see Disney through a new set of eyes! Sometimes change (God forbid!) is a good thing! We leave for Disney on Sunday (4 days at POR and 3 days at the Contemporary Tower). I'll be sure to do a review of both on my return.

Awww, I was hoping you'd be at AKL same time as us. Don't blame you for choosing CR though. That monorail access would be awsome! I agree with jaguar9748, this will be a whole other vacation experience for you! I tend to think everything happens for a reason, so you'll just have to wait & see what magic is in store for you! You deserve a bit of magic for all you do for us on the DIS! I still hope we run into you sometime though, so wear the ribbon, okay.

We ended up choosing CR because we are doing the Happy Haunts event on 10/30 and MNSSHP on 10/31 so walking woon't be out of the questions when we get out of MK late. Happy Haunts ends at midnight.
