Well here I am again

hiya everyone. I'm back in Knoxville at UT. Classes start Wednesday. (no, I have no idea why they start in the middle of the week) I'm in the same dorm building as last year, and feel kinda odd being among mostly freshman. Even the RA is younger than me! My roommate, Beth, arrived this afternoon so I met her briefly before she went out to eat lunch with her folks. They're really nice. How funny that her parents grew up in the same city in CA where I my dad grew up and where I lived until I was 10. They're all Disney fans. hehehe. Her father did a Goofy impression. I think Beth and I will get along fine.

I spent this morning walking all morning walking around campus...first I went to buy a parking permit...then I discovered it wasn't open till 1...then I realized that I didn't know my license plate number so I had to walk all the way to the parking garage to write it down. I went to the bookstore on campus, but didn't have my schedule with me to figure out which books to buy. I think I'll just hang out in my room for a bit.

Have fun, Angie. We go back on Wednesday also. Keeping the nose to the grindstone isn't something I'm geared up for right now. Oh, well! I'll get used to it again. Sounds like you lucked out getting a good roomate.
