for 1 nt renting someone's points, I understand that our "landlord" can arrange for us to have the DDP and we can pay for it at C/I, could I call the hotel a few days before our trip once it's in the hotel's system and pay then? It'll be our 10th anniversary and I want to surprise my husband. Another question, could we do a CS on our arrival day for lunch and then a TS for the following day for dinner which would be our c/o day? Thanks!

I do not believe it is possible to pay for the DVC Dining Plan in advance. Sorry.

You can use your credits in any order you wish, from the time you check-in until midnight of the day you check-out.

bicker is correct, the DDP for DVC stays is paid at check in.

Is the ressie in your name? You can always do the distract honey thing by making him handle the luggage or send him on a quick errand (the old I am DYING for a drink, can you run down to the.....)
