We were going to book our Dec. trip through the BR program and then DH called the number to speak with someone to ask a few questions and the CM looked up the AAA rate just to compare. AAA was about $445 cheaper for our stay. Better cancellation policy and all we went with AAA.

Our airfare even worked out on ATA we got it for $130 round trip per person, and we made it in on the tail end of the national weekly sale for a mini-van.

So, for 5 nights BWI deluxe concierge, airfare and car, for 4 we are paying 3,263. Using our AP's one last time!

I am a happy camper!

Nice job! It definitely pays to research and ask questions. . .Funny how an AAA membership is a better savings than BRP! Have a nice trip! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Glad to hear you got a better rate... :cool1: ...I think I am joining the bus load of people not renewing their AP's (PAP in my case) next year...the value seems to be fading. :guilty:

Lvs Tnk,

That's great that you took the time & got a great rate with AAA. Everyone must remember that during value season, whenever the AAA discount is 20% off, the AAA discount offered in the very high dollar rooms will be greater than the BR.

Have a Wonderful Time! :sunny:

I took AAA too instead of BR for my Dec trip. I am only paying $2/night more with my AAA discount than with BR so it was worth it to me to pay that 2 bucks to have a better cancelation policy if necessary.

Yep,that's why I posted didn't used to be the case, Last year our AP rate for the same room was much better than AAA. I'm really liking my AAA card lately, I used it for a Universal trip at the beginning of August for the PBH and Nick Family Suites. Good luck to everyone!!
