Michele, The Surreal Life is on the WB. It is a reality show w/ ex-celebrities. They are put into a house together w/ no phones, no tv, no news, etc. Pretty funny!

I know of a couple people who were banned, and are now back to posting under a different username.

Hi Everybody! Sorry I've been rather scarce today, had a really good reason, though! In RL, I am an accountant/tax preparer. I got fed up and changed jobs last October and one of my former clients has tracked me down by calling all the Harris's in the phone book!!!! She was so frustrated with my former boss that she came looking for me to handle her bookkeeping for her!!! Since I never had to sign an agreement not to compete, it's perfectly ethical for me to take her on as a client of my own. So, even though I hadn't planned on it, I have my own business now!!! It's exciting, although it means I won't get to DIS as much when I have to do her work. To top it off, my son referred his boss to me for corporate income taxes and I have an appointment with them on Saturday. Talk about falling and coming up smelling like roses!!! I can hardly believe it, myself!!

Debbie, congrats on your raise!! My mom would have said "Don't spend it all in one place" but, you're going to WDW, so go ahead and spend it! You deserve that upgrade!

Karen, hope you sleep better tonight. Tummy doing better?

Just wanted to stop in and say hello to all you Ya Yas. It snowed here today but school went on as usual. Both teens are off tomorrow but Allison is coming in with me to assist in my classes.

I got a call tonight from the teacher that I am subbing for and the mother of the boy who did not follow the assignment called today after I had left and was ready to rip me apart. She wants a meeting with the principal, me, teachers and whoever else to vent her feelings. I was expecting this and will go in with the assignment and the guidelines for the assignment. The teacher is going to send an email to the principal backing me up. I am only going to say one thing at the meeting and that is that his paper was held to the same standard as all the other students. I am not going to even go into any of her other issues. They don't concern me. Anyway, it will depend on how the principal handles this, on whether I will ever take on another long term assignment. Ought to be for an interesting day.

I am going back to catch up and will check in one more time before going off to my corner of the island to relax.

I propose our first commandment be:

Don't Mess With a Ya Ya unless you want to mess with all the Ya Yas.

Second Commandment: No one shall push around an Elder Ya Ya. You might get cheetooed, forked, or worse.

Third Commandment: We should have something about Skaterdorkboy but I can't think of anything right now. Just don't want to waste my time thinking about him. Hee! Hee!
