Morning All,
Took something to belp me finally get some sleep last night and I am woogy this morning. Still had problems with the restless legs anyway last night but I was finally able to get to sleep though most of it. Well I got sent home again today. I was told I look like hell and to go home and take the long weekend to get to feeling better. I have a doctors appointment at 10:15 so hopefully he can do something for the leg problem. I have now lost two days pay. Oh joy. Not gonna kill us but I hate losing money like that. Im also not one for going home sick. I hate to do it. I was TOLD to though by both my boss and my supervisor. I wasnt going to fight with them. I so want to go lay down and try and get some sleep but I have that appt in less than an hour so there is no sense in doing that.
I had the best time with my eldest last night. We needed to get him some gear for softball. He was so excited. I ended up getting him some stuff that the coach said they didnt really need because most of his friends have it and also I want him to be able to practice with his dad on Saturdays. He proudly took it to school today to show his coach and make sure what we got was right. If I heard thank you once last night I heard it a thousand times from him. It was so sweet. He is so very very excited about being picked for the team. He has never ever even played baseball with the exception of working on it with his grandpa and he was chosen for the team. That makes him feel just that much more self confident. Its just so neat to see my little bookworm going out for sports. Something I never thought he would do with the exception of Upwards Basketball and that church run. I never thought he would actually go out for a sport where he has to compete to get a spot. He is just growing up so much so fast. It has been so facinating to watch him change and grow especially over this summer. He is really becoming a young man.
I talked with my youngests teacher today. We have been seeing papers come home that concerned us......you must remember due to my eldest we are used to seeing 90 and 100 percent papers come home We werent sure if youngest was really having problems or if he was on par with the rest of the class. Seems he is doing fine and is on par. That made us feel really good. We asked for ways we could help him do better and she gave me a nice list of things that we could do and thanked me profusely that we are as involved in his learning as we are. She said she doesnt see that from a lot of parents, which I find very sad. Yes life is busy but you have to find the time to help your kids.....it has always been my philosphy.
Just got my paperwork from Disney yesterday. We are REALLY GOING!!!! I am so excited. We have not been away in so very long. We need the time away in the happiest place on earth. Even if we dont do a lot of the parks we will relax by the pool and have fun at the resort. The kids love to do that also as well as the parks. Tara you and I are staying at the same resort!!!! We are at CBR also!!! I am just so psyched and have dinner ressies for Boma for Tday dinner and then Ohana the next night. Not sure what we will do the third night. Im just playing by ear right now. Still havent told the inlaws that we will not be here but as dh has said they havent bothered to come down for some very important things for the kids so he is not going to be the least bit concerned about not being here for Tday. They have a choice though they can chose to meet us up there if they want to. As dh has said we have to start living for us and doing the things we want and need to do. Im just so family oriented and concerned about what they will think due to my upbringing with my family. Dh is not really close to his family. He was much closer to my family than he ever was to his own. If my parents were alive you can sure as bet we would not be away for Thanksgiving.
Well I guess I better get my butt moving to my doctors appointment before I am late. I will checking with yall laters.
HUGS TO ALL!!!
