Evening, all. Nighttime on the River is purty, don't ya think...all those beautiful houses lit up so nice, and just the sound of that paddlewheel when you stand out here on the deck.

Inside, that conga line is getting rather raucous. Who's been tending bar? I think I need to make sure they're not overpouring the alcohol!

Bethie, you have to get the missing yaya there! She and Heather would probably be cracking each other up! Darn, if there was some way for me to head up, I would!

Todd works? Luckily, I wasn't taking a sip of my drink when I read about things other than visors being adjusted!

Ed's playing a new disc and it's quite pleasant-got some choral/classical influences that I like a lot.

Did my good deed. Have two people who are leaving us and tomorrow is their last day-I made the cake. Gonna frost it right before I head into work.

Tomorrow morning, we have to head over to Uhaul, rent a truck, then off to Direct Buy to pick up the dressers and nightstands we ordered ON MARCH 16th!!! Ashley was way backed up, and so we've had to wait. It'll be nice to have all the boys clothes fit into their dressers for a change!

Pam, you are 3 weeks older than me, but I'll lead if you want me to. Simba will supervise, he'll be in his wet suit though, can't get a drop of water on the precious belly, it might melt.

I don't have much time to play... I made a cake last night that I am not happy about how it looks... so I am making a couple changes and doing it again. Need to run the dishwasher first though!

Ahhhhh................wonderful evening last night! WHY didn't we think of a riverboat earlier?! That paddlewheel sound was actually soothing and I felt like I was being rocked to sleep. Getting a lazy start to my day here. Dave does not have to go up to NJ this weekend and I actually have the day off! We have plans for grocery shopping, phone shopping and closet cleaning, but we're taking our time getting started. Besides....QVC is having it's last Scrapbook & Craft Fair day for this year so I have to watch for good deals

Pimm's cup is a drink you can get in New Orleans. Had one once, and it was very tasty! Gin, lemonade, club soda.

Naw, my Ashley order was through Direct Buy...if you're getting from elsewhere, they've probably got it in a warehouse somewhere, but Direct Buy doesn't work that way. Apparently, we picked some extremely popular dressers! Cool thing is that there's an Ashley store nearby and they have scratch and dent mirrors that go with the dresser Kevin chose. It'll be 25 bucks, woohoo!

Now I need to get the boy the matching desk. He's fond of using his current nightstand as one, since it's just the right height.

Tara, two wild, rambunctious kids here-I've got my quota!

Beth, enjoy that day off! I'll be off tomorrow, probably should call mom and see if we should head over there. No moohlah to play at the parks until next week.

A Pimms Cup sounds perfectly wonderful! I could use one or twelve of those myself. After going through the bug thing myself a day or so ago, I now have a husband and two ILs dealing with it today. Ugh.

Went out and put weed killer on the weeds. unfortunately I'm afraid that will kill my good grass, but these weeds are taking over like the Dark Side! So i got work some magic to get rid of them!! Instead of a light saber I'm weilding a bottle of round up!! hehehe

After some lunch (and the nasty clouds that are over head go away) I'll get back out and do the mowing and the hedge trim! That sucker has grown so much since I cut it a month ago!

Oh my goodness so much has gone on and I missed it cause I had to go to the store for birthday gifts. Now I have to leave soon for the actual birthday party. Why can't I strap my computer onto my back so I can continue to join in the fun? Wish I could!

Maybe if I am lucky I can my family dance with me even though it won't be the same as dancing with my new found friends. Bet they won't do the conga.
