I called to try to book the Welcome Tour and a CM told me it was no longer offered, though it could have been just the dates I was looking to book. They may not offer it when they're running the Holiday Tours, but she implied the tour wasn't popular enough and they discontinued it. She also strongly discouraged me from booking the Holiday Tour since we had a 2 year old with us. My DH didn't want to do that tour anyway, so no tour for us. :sad1:

When I called about booking that tour I was told they were no longer doing it because of the construction at California Adventures.

What??????????? HOW can they not offer that anymore?? THAT is…..that is just not cool! i think the holiday tour sounds fun...

October 18 was the last tour that almost wasn't. Nine of us showed up with tickets, but we were not listed on their computer system. They quickly got us a guide. Nancy was awesome and it was a good tour. I wish the tour had been at the beginning of our trip instead of the end. They really need something for out of town guests. There is not much sign posts to show where you are like in WDW.

well I guess that helps me firm up my itinerary - was trying to decide whether to do both that and the Holiday Tour !

thanks:thumbsup2

I was also told it was no more. I called 2 weeks ago at my 30 days out, and was told it had been discontinued. I was on the Disney website yesterday checking stuff out, and noticed it is no longer shown.

I was really disappointed as this was the only affordable tour we could do and sounded like a lot of fun!!:guilty:

I wanted to do SOMETHING special but not too expensive like the fantasmic seating or the Holiday Tour, in case we can't really make it or everyone's tired.
Not sure what other experience there would compare.
