We made our annual visit to Welcome home Wednesdays yesterday. While i I really believe the show has improved from the days of that outrageous DVC chick. who we personally found offensive in her Characterization of a person, I have to say that I wish there were options other than hats each time we visited. I appreciate the fund the excitement in the free gift but a lanyard would be really cool. Hey member satisfaction are you paying attention no more hats lanyards even basketballs would be good!

Go on a cruise, you will get plenty of DVC lanyards! They give hats on the cruises as well.

I attended a WHW in April, and won 2 pins. I like the pins a lot and wish they would give out more of those.

I agree something new would be nice ,but hey the hats are nice too .

You really can't argue with "free." I appreciate anything we get at these events, including the snacks!

I do wish they would mix it up a bit. We enjoy hitting a WHW once a year but have enough hats. We don't wear hats.

Pins would be nice, window decals, license plate holders, magnets, lanyards, mugs, t-shirts, a DVC tote bag, key chains, etc. They could hand out any one of these and make me a happy DVCer.

I remember when they use to give out tote bags on occasion. I have a few of these in different designs. I still use them at the pool. As for the hats, I have one of almost every style now. We actually skipped WHW during our spring trip. We couldn't get anyone interested in going. Maybe our October trip we will wonder over there, esp. since we are staying at the BWV.

Boy you're not kidding. I liked it when the thread rolled around on what can be made from those lanyards (like key chains to give as FE gifts)!
