I did catch that in the Disney File.They do put on a nice little show for the members which is more like a game show.I remember back when we gathered at community hall BWV in the back room which was not that big.On a good day 25 to 30 would show up and a few times only about 5 to 10.You get a hat now for just showing up but at one time it was etremely limited and everyone asked about the hat.Times have changed since the short film and cue card meetings so on your next trip bring the family.

At the Dance hall on the Boardwalk we have a members meeting which starts with you getting a DVC members ball cap,prize entries,food and drink ticket and othe surprises.After sitting down you will here about things DVC is doing or going to do in the future.they also have a game they play and maybe you would be one of the contestants.During the game they give away prizes to the lucky ticket holders and who answers questions.Most of the meetings I have attended they bring in special guests that they interview and you get to ask questions also.At my last meeting we won a family photo package which included a photographer taking us out to different places and getting wonderful pictures.I think it was a $200.00 package.
Being a DVC member is the best gift you could give to your family.

Welcome Home Wednesdays are great fun! I am not sure if the 2:00 start time will be more or less convenient for most. For us 2:00 would be prime "doing" time. 4:00 seemed to work out great because it was down-time for us.

2:00 sounds great to me!! We are usually taking a break from the parks around that time in the afternoon!!
