Welcome Home-Our 1st DVC Trip Link to TR pg 53

I'm here, adorable pics of the girls, can't wait to read more.

So very sorry for Tanya and her loss.

A Dec trip update.

I had considered moving the trip to Nov but forgot I was doing the 3 Day Walk-need to get training for that......

The crowds will be crazy but I think spending the actual holiday in WDW will be something we will never forget. The plan is
Girls and I will fly from Phx on Sat May 18th to Orlando. The time difference will be a little better-only 2 hours. We will check into a Studio at AKV Kidani Savanna View.
Jeff will join us on Wed Dec 22nd when we will move to a 1 BD Savanna view!! So very excited about this!!
We will all fly back to Phx on Sun the 26th
Not sure if we will do the dining plan this time around. I know we do want to eat at Yak&Yeti, Tusker House and Boma. I can make ADR's on my bday :)
I used the rest of my 2010 points and bought 19 more-thanks for that info Leanne. I am glad we did not need to borrow cause I have spring and fall trips planned in 2011!!

The girls and I flew in on Christmas afternoon a couple of years ago after doing Christmas morning at home. It was very cool to be in Magic Kingdom on December 25th. :santa:

We want to do the entire holiday in Disney World when the girls are a little older, too. It would be wonderful to do that in a nice resort with plenty of space. :goodvibes

You are like us - always in the planning stages. We just booked October and are also looking forward to a March 2011 trip when a family friend will get to go with us again.

Your friend's family has been in my thoughts and prayers. We do not understand such heartache while we are here, but we know that God does have a perfect plan, so we just trust in His will and His way.

Oh! what a wonderful way to celebrate the actual Christmas holiday!
and since you just went and are going again in the spring its not like you are trying to do the parks commando you can just take your time and enjoy...unlike the people who only go once a year or less trying to get it "ALL" in!
:wave2:

So sad about Tanya :(.

Your December plans are so fun!!! You are right -- you will never forget spending Christmas in Disney World!!!

I'm so sorry for your friend, Tanya. It sounds as if she's experienced more than her share of heartache.

I love your December trip---How cool for Santa to come to Disney World (or do you not do Santa?) Regardless---Disney at Christmas time is magical. You'll love it, Mary! :)

I'm sos sad to hear about baby Viloette. I have a few friends that have kept in touch with her over the years, so I was reading about her progress daily. SO sad. I can't imagine the pain the family is feeling right now.

As far as your Christmas plans are concerned, everything sounds wonderful. You may even slow things down a bit. Having DVC, you kind of gain this mindset of I'll be back again soon and slow it down a bit...especially when it's crowded.

You'll love Disney at Christmastime, that was one of my favorite trips ever! It will be crowded, but the crowds are manageable. It's such a wonderful time to be there :santa:

I don't think there is anything prettier than WDW in all it's Christmas glory....Christmas is magical enough, then you through in the MK.....makes me weepy just thinking about it!

That would be a nice compromise-am at home aft at Disney-the time difference would not work for us:sad2: It was actually Hubby who suggested it on Christmas last year. It was a little hectic with all his family :rolleyes1 Congrats on Oct-I am hoping to go in 2011 and yay for March. Thanks for the prayers-it is in God's hands.

it will be and in that fabulous room! It really does take some of the presure off. I really want to check out some of the holiday decor. C will also be old enough for the kid's clubs!

She really has.

We do do Santa-that may a bit of a challenge but I am sure we can figure it out. I can't wait-I am a sucker for cool decor.

Very sad indeed. That is the plan-to go with the flow-check out things that we may not when the weather is warmer. That is why I love DVC
