Welcome, Foolish Mortals...to an October 2011 PTR! *Trip Report link is up, pg 71!!*

Your Day 2 plans sound great! and what better way to spend your first full day at WDW then going to MNSSHP! (Especially since you'll be rested):thumbsup2

You are such a good planner! Your day two looks awesome. Plus you get to check-in to my new favorite resort! You'll have to let me know what you think of LTT, we have never been.

Jen, Day 2 plans sound great! Hey, I saw on vacation, eating is whatever you want at any time!

I think cheesecake sounds like the best breakfast option ever :goodvibes

Even though you only lost .5 lbs at least it was a loss and that is always good :thumbsup2

I am SO excited to read about your MNSSHP experience, we are going on October 16th and it will be our first time going to that party as well :cool1:

What a great relaxing day which is awesome since you are going to the Halloween Party that night!

You will love Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner, my husband and I loved it when we went a few years ago. It was so very yummy!!

Are you dressing up for MNSSHP???

Boo for not hitting you 10 lb. goal :sad2: but YEY for still seeing a negative on the scale! You'll get there....even if it's a little at a time.

I think your Day 2 plans look good and my vote is TOTALLY for cheesecake for breakfast. I hope your room at WL is ready early! :goodvibes

I know what you mean about taking pics of the castle. I have a mental list of some of the usual and not-so-usual things/places to take some pictures. After all, I need lots of pics to scrapbook!

Hello,

I'm here!! I think your plans sound great! I can't wait to hear more! I here ya on the weight loss. I have been back to weight watchers a few times with the latest time being last Thursday so I am hoping this weigh in I will have lost something. I am going end of September staying at ASM with DH31 DS8 and DS2. Can't wait!!

MNSSHP is fun but I prefer MVMCP. But then again I like Christmas a lot more than Halloween! When we went one of the best things about it was seeing all the costumes people were wearing! We were the boring ones who didn't dress up (it was more like summer weather when we were there, even in Oct.) but it was fun seeing other people. Some of the costumes are so elaborate!

Catching up all the way from your anniversary post! Happy BELATED anniversary, haha! I may have said it on Facebook ...

I didn't go to the new Disney Store yet, but Howard did. He did NOT like it. He said it wasn't anything like World of Disney, just like you said. That's sad because we liked having WoD nearby for a Disney fix if need be even though we only did go twice (and the second time was when they were closing down, so the store was only like 75% filled).

Oh boo! I can't believe you had to go through your anniversary that sick. That stinks. But thankfully, you have Brandon all year round so at least you could celebrate all the time!

Aww, I liked your Disneymoon recap. I can't wait to wear that Just Married pin too! When we were discussing postponing the Disneymoon, I was like, "But I want to wear the pin and actually be able to say, 'We just got married on Saturday!'"

Oh wow, I admire you for starting the C25K program! I can't get up the stairs at church without feeling out of breath. I'm so out of shape that it's sad. During the school year, it's not as bad because I'm on my feet and doing the stairs constantly with the kids. But now that it's been about 3 -4 weeks into the summer for me, I get winded walking up 2 flights at church!

What a clever way to make a countdown calendar! Haha, the post-it thing is great!

You can do it! Can't wait to celebrate with you when you reach your 10 lb goal! AND I'm excited to see what you get for yourself!

That sounds like it will be such a wonderful day!!! I especially agree with the cheesecake for breakfast (something I've done before :thumbsup2)!

Thanks! I'm pretty excited about the idea of cheesecake for breakfast! Although, I can't lie, since we will be out of the parks by like, 9 the night before, I'm guessing I'll get it as a little midnight snack...

Oh no that is frustrating to have only lost .5 pounds when you wanted to get to your 10 pound goal  At least you know the reason behind it though and can change it this week.

Pop breakfast sounds like fun...did not think of having a cheesecake for breakfast! You have me thinking now...:rotfl:

Yay on being able to take the boat to MK! Hope you guys enjoy your dinner at LTT.

Can’t wait to hear about your MNSSHP plans!

Yeah, I'm kind of annoyed with the .5 pound loss, but a loss is better than gaining I guess! I'm trying to make up for it this week, but it is just SO hot here right now, it's hard to do anything but lay around!

LOL, you should definitely have cheesecake for breakfast, you're on vacation, why not? :rotfl2:

I'm SO happy we're staying at WL and have boat access, did you hear how they are not running the monorail during evening EMH's anymore? UGhhh, that frustrates me!

I've heard great things about the food at Pop-- I'm sure whatever you get for breakfast will be yummy!
We're going to LTT for dinner, too! I hope it's good! I know how excited you are for MNSSHP-- I hope it lives up to your expectations!

I've heard great things about the food at Pop too, that's part of the reason I wanted to stay there for a night, to check out the food court, since if we go in May, we will most likely be staying there!

Oooh, I can't wait to hear what you thought of LTT for dinner! I think it will be good, lunch there is awesome, so I don't see why dinner wouldn't be the same! :)

Your plans sound great... have to say, I think it was a good idea that you added an extra day so that you're not going to MNSSHP on your arrival day. You will have so much fun at the party!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm really happy we're not doing MNSSHP on our arrival day anymore. It would have been do-able, but we would have been so rushed. It will be nice to be able to relax. I'm SO excited for the Halloween party! :woohoo:

Sounds like a fun day! I bet you are going to have so much fun at MNSSHP! I can't wait to hear more about it. I would love to go at some point! :goodvibes

Thanks! I'm so looking forward to MNSSHP, I have a feeling I'm going to LOVE it! :lovestruc

What an awesome first full day! The tie-dyed cheesecake really is yummy!!

Have a blast at the Halloween party!!

Thanks! I love looking at the tie dyed cheesecake, I don't even care how it tastes, it looks so pretty!

Thanks, I cannot wait for the Halloween party!

Hooray for MNSSHP! We'll be there on the 30th too! (I think I already mentioned that but I was excited so I'll say it again) I don't know what we'll be wearing yet, but I'll let you know so we can be on the lookout for each other.

Sounds like a great day and ending with MNSSHP :thumbsup2

Thanks! I'm pretty excited for the first day...I mean, I'm excited for all the days, but I think this one will be extra special, considering it's my first Halloween party! :woohoo:

Your plans are looking awesome so far :teeth: I really hope you guys enjoy MNSSHP! I love it :lovestruc and think you guys will, too :lmao:

Thanks! I know we will love MNSSHP, we loved the Christmas party, and I keep hearing how much better this one is! :rotfl:

Your Day 2 plans sound great! and what better way to spend your first full day at WDW then going to MNSSHP! (Especially since you'll be rested):thumbsup2

Thanks! I can't wait to finally be in Disney and going to the Halloween party! It's so close, yet so far still! :rotfl2:

You are such a good planner! Your day two looks awesome. Plus you get to check-in to my new favorite resort! You'll have to let me know what you think of LTT, we have never been.

LOL, thanks, I try! I can't wait to be back "home" at the WL!

LTT is really yummy for lunch, so I'm expecting it to the pretty good for dinner too! It kind of annoys me that you can't pick from the menu like you can for lunch, but everything sounds good for dinner, so I think we will like it! :thumbsup2

Jen, Day 2 plans sound great! Hey, I saw on vacation, eating is whatever you want at any time!

Thanks! Yep, I'm definitely going to live by that rule on vacation, eating what I want! I'll probably gain back all the weight I'm losing now!

LOL, I think cheesecake sounds fantastic for breakfast!

I'm ok with just losing .5 pounds this week...I mean, I wish I lost more, but at least I didn't gain!

I wish we were going the same week, it would have been fun to meet up at the party! Although, I have a feeling I'm going to be running around like a crazy person, so I might probably wouldn't even have time to stop! :rotfl2:

What a great relaxing day which is awesome since you are going to the Halloween Party that night!

You will love Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner, my husband and I loved it when we went a few years ago. It was so very yummy!!

Are you dressing up for MNSSHP???

I'm glad we aren't going to be doing much before the party! I just hope our room is ready at WL reasonably early!

I'm glad you like LTT for dinner, I think it's going to be so good!

I'm still not sure if I'm dressing up for MNSSHP...I'd like to, but it all depends on how much weight I lose. :confused3

Boo for not hitting you 10 lb. goal :sad2: but YEY for still seeing a negative on the scale! You'll get there....even if it's a little at a time.

I know what you mean about taking pics of the castle. I have a mental list of some of the usual and not-so-usual things/places to take some pictures. After all, I need lots of pics to scrapbook!

Thanks! I'm hoping this week I reach the 10 pound mark!

I hope our room is ready at WL too, there's nothing more annoying than not having a home for half of the day!

I wish I could scrapbook, but I have no idea how to do it! :confused3 I tried to do one for our Disneymoon and it was a disaster! :rotfl:

Hello,

Hi! Thanks! Yay, keep me updated with how weight watchers is going for you! Do you like the new points system? I keep thinking I should join meetings, but I really like the old points system, so that's what I'm using for now! Are you doing any Halloween parties in September? :yay:

MNSSHP is fun but I prefer MVMCP. But then again I like Christmas a lot more than Halloween! When we went one of the best things about it was seeing all the costumes people were wearing! We were the boring ones who didn't dress up (it was more like summer weather when we were there, even in Oct.) but it was fun seeing other people. Some of the costumes are so elaborate!

I like Christmas more than Halloween too, and I love MVMCP, but it seems like there is more to do and see at MNSSHP! I can't imagine liking Hallowishes more than Holiday Wishes, though! I'm looking forward to seeing all the costumes! Still not sure if I'm dressing up or not! :confused3

sounds like a fun day!!!

Thanks! Hope you're having fun in FL!

Catching up all the way from your anniversary post! Happy BELATED anniversary, haha! I may have said it on Facebook ...

You can do it! Can't wait to celebrate with you when you reach your 10 lb goal! AND I'm excited to see what you get for yourself!

Yay you're back! :goodvibes

Ugh, I have no desire to go to the NYC Disney store ever again. The one in the mall in CT is better than that one. Disappointing. :sad2:

LOL, yeah, I was pretty sick for my anniversary! I'm hoping that's it for me for sickness for the rest of the year!

OMG I loved the Just Married pin! I have it on a shelf in my room, and I was just looking at it the other day, thinking how sad it was that I'll never be able to wear it again, or my bride Minnie ears! Make sure you keep yours on the whole time, because it's the only time you can wear it! :woohoo:

I haven't done the C25K in weeks. I'm thinking of maybe picking it up again in the fall, but for now it's too hot. :confused3 And I got stuck on week 3, and it was annoying that I couldn't run more than 90 seconds at a time. I'd like to finish it though.

Thanks, I love my countdown calendar! It's so satisfying, taking a number off the post it pad each morning! I seriously jump out of bed to rip that paper off! :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

I really hope I get to 10 pounds this week!!! :)

Hooray for MNSSHP! We'll be there on the 30th too! (I think I already mentioned that but I was excited so I'll say it again) I don't know what we'll be wearing yet, but I'll let you know so we can be on the lookout for each other.

You're definitely dressing up? See I'm still not sure...I want to, but I don't know what to be...it all depends on if I lose a decent amount of weight by then or not! If not, I'll wear a Halloween shirt!

I hope you reach your 10lb mark!!!

and I agree, cheesecake is acceptable for breakfast when your on vacation! or on any day that ends in 'Y' :rotfl2:

Hi! Thanks! Yay, keep me updated with how weight watchers is going for you! Do you like the new points system? I keep thinking I should join meetings, but I really like the old points system, so that's what I'm using for now! Are you doing any Halloween parties in September?

Thanks! I will keep you posted! I have weigh in tomorrow. I think I like the new points system yes lol..they fruit is Zero points now and most of the other points values have gone up but you get more for your daily points and your weekly points is now 49! so it seems to even out and I think I have lost this week, but don't quote me! I'll let ya know tomorrow. As for MNSSHP we are going to be there Tuesday 9-27.

Great plan! I love how all your plans revolve around what food/restaurants you want to eat/eat at! You might just be related to me!!! :lmao: I'm so glad you plan to eat a tye-dye cheesecake. We're staying at Pop again this trip and I cannot WAIT to eat one. I know I ate at least 2 our last trip. :rolleyes1 We also ate at LTT our last visit and whenever we go back during Thanksgiving or Christmas, we would definitely eat there again. It just felt like Christmas dinner to me. Turkey, dressing, sides, etc. My DH especially liked it and we enjoyed eating family style.

BTW, I KNOW you will get to your 10lbs this week (or really soon)!! Keep up the dedication. You can do it! :thumbsup2

I haven't done the C25K in weeks. I'm thinking of maybe picking it up again in the fall, but for now it's too hot. :confused3 And I got stuck on week 3, and it was annoying that I couldn't run more than 90 seconds at a time. I'd like to finish it though.

I had never heard about C25K, but it sounds like the perfect thing to get me back in shape before heading to Disney in 10 weeks! The only thing is that I'm not a runner, so we'll see how far I make it....:confused3

Yay on the weight loss!:thumbsup2 I managed to gain almost 20... so I am in BIG trouble right now.....:scared1:

I wish we were going the same week, it would have been fun to meet up at the party! Although, I have a feeling I'm going to be running around like a crazy person, so I might probably wouldn't even have time to stop! :rotfl2:

I wish we were too!! It would be great to meet you guys!! I am so worried we won't be able to fit all the party fun into one night...I even told Tim I wasn't sure we should sit down for dinner, but instead grab food along the way, I'm crazy I know!! :rotfl:

Awesome check-in day! Thank goodness for that extra Disney day! It will make your arrival at WL so great and convenient!

I love LTT lunch. I can't wait to eat there in December.

You are going to  Love  MNSSHP!
