Welcome Center?

I heard that there is a Disney Welcome Center in Ocala. Does anyone know what they offer there?

You can buy tickets, activate annual passes, and get information on everything Disney (theme parks, cruises, etc.) Also, there is a small Disney gift shop that offers many of the same items found in the parks. If you bought a Burbaum's guidebook, there is a coupon for a free souvenier. We stopped the last time we went to Disney, and my daughter was able to pick either a Mickey or Minnie Mouse keychain with the coupon.

There was an article in the paper just last week about the Ocala Welcome Center that said they have discounted on-site rooms for people who don't have ressies yet, and the discounts can be over 40%! The article said the Welcome Center cannot get discounted rooms for people who already have ressies--Disney allows them to book the discounts in the hopes of getting more "walk-in" bookings for rooms that would otherwise be empty.
