Welcome Bags

This is a pic of my welcome bag. I haven't bought anything to go in them yet, but here they are.

Is that a Vera Bradley bag I see!LOL If you have seen my posts over on the CB then you know I am a huge VB fan/addict! That's a ditty bag, right? I have one to go with my luggage set, but that looks like the new pattern that just came out, no? It's so cute and I would've never thought to use that as a welcome bag. Great idea!

Yes, it is a Ditty. The girl at the store told me its their breast cancer bag, and a portion of the proceeds goes to that. We had originally just gotten some discontinued bags for really cheap, but my we fell in love this pattern(and it goes with my wedding colors)and decided to exchange. Now, the problem is I want a duffle and accesories to match!LOL

You see that's what happens when you buy 1 VB item! You want them all and all the matching pieces!! That is the new pattern and yes that one and their pink elephants line proceeds go to breast cancer research. I love the colors too what a nice choice for wedding colors!

Caryn, sweetie, when you get back and when you are not totally overwhelmed with catching up, could you please email me your welcome letter? I feel so self-centered asking right now, but I have plenty of time until I need it and thought I'd at least get my request in.

I found some battery opperated fans and ponchos at Dollar Tree for my welcome bags. I also found Mickey pencils and post-its and mini sunscreens at Target. We are going to stop at Sam's Club when we get to Florida so we can pick up bottled water, gum, hershey's kisses, and other snacks to put int he bags as well. Still working on my welcome letter, but so far it includes the itenerary, our favorite restaurants and attractions in Disney, ideas for guests who do not plan on visiting the parks (Downtown Disney, Boardwalk, etc). I also sent out a Wedding Newsletter including things to know before you go like the phone number for reservations, information about transportation and park tickets, Orlando weather (we are from Massachusetts), and what the dress is for the wedding, reception, and rehearsal (people have been asking).
