Weird Received snail mail update with std view wait list, but pref view points

OK, I was excited to get mail today. I read thru it and my wait list from regular to std view at the boardwalk came thru.

I went online to confirm the situation, and it said pref/water view. So I called MS and she said it was still a pref view reservation, and then she asked me to read the letter.

So I read her the letter. Which she then explained it said standard view, but the points total was for a pref view.

She said there was a glitch last week in the computer system. This happen to anyone else?

She also said they can no longer have multiple room reservations under 1 reservation number. So, they would have to be split before we arrived. I figured fine, a couple minutes, I was on hold for like 30 minutes. So, if you have to do the same, make sure your not in a rush, or it could have been an inexperienced CM.

Yes, it did. About 4 days before our trip this month I got a confirmation for BWV for standard view when it should have been boardwalk view! I just about heart failure. The points were for boardwalk/preferred view but the reservation said standard view.

It had something to do with splitting our reservation into two numbers (had one night at BLT and 5 nights at BWV under one reservation number originally). Supposedly there was a problem with "the computer." All was well when we arrived and we did get our boardwalk view.

There have been a couple of other posts about this. I have a boardwalk view for April but if I look on disneyworld.com, it says standard. DVCmember.com shows boardwalk view.
