While making plans for our sept. trip me and Disneynerd420 came upon an interesting thought that no one has been able to give a definate answer for. We are planning on spending one of our afternoons at the Cove bar in DCA, however one member of our group needs an ECV to get around. Now my question is, could they recieve a DUI for operating an ECV after having a few drinks? Im sure its not going to much of an issue either way, just a question that came up that seems to have everyone I ask baffled:confused:

That's a good? :lmao:
ever hear of the motorized barstool guy? He got a DUI, lol or DWI or wet and reckless lol
anyway I think if anyone is that snockered that they'd notice the scooter wobbling around you could get atleast a public intoxication. Maybe your friends drinks should be virgin :)

Depends on Disney policy. A few years ago, some nut-job was riding a skate-board in DTD. Damn near ran me over, then 'almost' crashed into a wall. 2 of Anaheim's finest witnessed the whole thing. I just 'had' to question them about it. Their comment was,"That's up to Disney". :sad2:
btw,this 'nut-job',was in his early 30s. :scared1:

Maybe a push wheel chair would be a better option for that night!!

Lol none of us are planning on getting that out of hand, this just happened to come up in conversation and I thought I'd post it, but yeah the wheelchair may be a better option for the day.

You gotta realize were coming from az where having a glass of wine with dinner before taking a bike ride will get ya 9 days in tent city lol.

I still want to know... I might just call the police and ask them. Not that I'm worried about my mother getting a DUI in disneyland, but I want to know! It poses an interesting question of ethics. People use ECV's in replacement for walking, so if someone who is dependent on an ECV has a few drinks can they legally be arrested for a DUI? If you can get a DUI on a lawnmower why can't you get one on an ecv?

I can see it now. Woody Allen in 'Sleeper'. :rotfl:

Lol, your mom will have to serve 9 days in mickey jail, have her ECV privlages suspended for no less then 3 months, and need to blow into the ignition the next time she needs to start the ECV:rotfl:
