Weird occurance a few years ago at GFC.

My parents and grandparents went down to Disney back in ~Nov. of 04 and they had some interesting service at the Grand Floridian Cafe as well as the Yacht Club Galley. At the GFC, they gave their order but the waitress said that if they wanted something that required cooking, it would take ~45 min to make. At the Yacht Club Galley, they had the same problem except they just ordered cereal so they didn't have to wait so long.

Did anyone go to disney during the 4th quarter of 04 and know what i am taking about. Was there a labor strike or something?

I was there in Aug 98 when a lightening strike hit a natural gas line and shut down most gas to Disney property. No hot water in the resorts, and limited menu items in most restaurants, for about a day and a half until gas service was restored. Perhaps it was something like that? Did they not ask WHY it would take so long for a cooked item?

Well i guess not. But it was just those 2 restaurants. That is what makes it strange
