Ok, I'm new to this whole posting and thread stuff so lets see how i do.:goodvibes
Now I had an idea to share each other dreams/nightmares. All you have to do is think of a dream/nightmare and record it. Try to make it short. Otherwise I'll look like this trying to read all of the posts! :surfweb:
Thank you in advance for replying to my first thread!

I'll start.
A while ago I had a very odd dream.
I was the captain of a ship in the middle of the ocean. I was yelling random things to random people(and things)! But the weirdest "command" I yelled was to a fork; "Mr. Pumpkin, go get the bucket, Mr. Spoon needs to throw up." Then the fork went and got a sock and I told a pen that the bucket was ready, and the pen came over and washed it's face with the sock. It was the weirdest thing ever.
How do our minds come up with these things???? :sad2:

i remember it's because of events which happened that day... though i seem to have aload of dreams being in WDW and when we went last, we went through the Plaza Restaurant in MK and the view of Cinderella's Castle from there made me remember of the dreams i had because it was the exact same view but i hadn't been for about 18 months... weird

The other night I had a weird dream that I was watching a movie or something, and it must have been scary because all I can remember is that Pete Wentz died and this girl he knew was.. I honestly don't know how she felt (like, if she was sad or happy). But at the end she was sitting on a random bleacher in the middle of a grassy field and he showed up next to her. He screamed into her ear and she screamed because of it. Then I woke up... :rotfl:

I had quite an interesting dream about a year ago.

I was in the audience for the Oprah Winfrey Show for some reason. Oprah told us all to look behind us to see the next guest. Everyone turned around and suddenly a scream was heard. Everyone turned back forward and Oprah was missing. Everyone began to panic. Everyone started to look for Oprah. I was looking for her with this random guy named Milo. We went into a random room and Oprah was there, tied to a chair. A man in a bear suit was also in the room and he apparentally kidnaped Oprah. I forget how, but Milo and I scared the man in the bear costume away and then we untied Oprah. She was very greatful and told us how Oprah-tastic we were (the word Oprah-tastic was used throughout the dream).

Maybe we'll get a new round of dreams/nightmares tomorrow after everyone has a good nights sleep!

I have a reoccuring dream.

I am sitting in my gym, but it is empty. I am holding a newborn baby. My husband is there (ex bf). Someone knocks on the door my husband goes to answer it. I look out the window while still holding the baby, there is papparazzi everywhere. I look back in the room and there is an old metal bath tub filled with water. For some reason I decide this is a good time for a bath for the baby. I place the baby gently in the tub. I go back to the window to look out it. I look back at the tub and the water is overflowing and the baby is floating on top. I run over wrap it in a towel and sit down. My husband comes back and asks what in the world is wrong with the baby. I wake up.

The feeling I get I cannot explain. If you want it in more detail I have already posted it on the Tell me Your Dreams thread that I made a couple weeks ago.

I have this dream every wednesday. Never fails. Every Wednesday.

That's scary...

You will all think I'm weird, but I'm psychic (yes, also psycho, but sometimes psychic)

(a) I had a dream the night before that in my Religious class we'd talk about vegetarians. We'd discuss them. Next day -- We discussed vegetarianism.

(b) I had a dream my mom would come into school because I forgot my lunch. Next day, I forget my lunch and my mom comes into school.

(c) I had a dream that something really bad would happen to my brother. That he would run into the house crying. Next day -- brother comes into house crying his head off because he fell on the ice.

(d) **not a dream** I sent my friend Travelin' Soldier lyrics. Her iTunes is on shuffle -- she was telling me that. Next song that comes up on her iTunes- Travelin' Soldier. Next song that comes up on my shuffled iTunes is Travelin' Soldier.

(e) Actually, this happened about 2 hours ago **not a dream** -- I was doing this "Cake Walk*+*" at my elementary school fun fair and I bet my friend that we'd both win. Guess what? We both won. It was really scary.

I scare myself a lot.

*+* The Cake Walk is where there's numbers 1-10 on the ground. The music plays and you walk around. The music stops, you stop on a number. The person in the middle calls out numbers that he/she draws from a bucket. The numbers win a cake/brownies/cookies... a treat.

I am not surprised Emily. Dreams normally are like that.

They also say dreams are our unconsious wishes and fears.

I think that they can be our concious wishes and fears too though.

But, I'm just wondering, how would I know that?

How does anyone know that?

WHY WOULD WE TALK ABOUT VEGETARIANS IN RELGIOUS EDUCATION? Sorry, I've been wondering that since that happened... it's not directed toward you, I'm just incredibly confused about it!

Thats REALLy weird...

Once i had this dream that a monster stapled my hand and killed me with staples...i woke up and it looked like i had a staple on my hand @_@ i was SOOO scared but it was just my imagination (oh and the stapler was right by my bed)

Oh and i agree with the dreams are wishes and fears and stuff....ive had alot of dreams about what ive really wanted to happen and ive had tons of bad dreams about people i care about dieing.

Dreams are thoughts that are being passed thorugh your brain while you sleep. When you fall asleep, and go into a stage called REM, you brain is processing and sorting all sorts of information, things you may not even know you thought about etc. When these are passing through your brain you see them in dreams, which is why alot of time your dreams hop around and don't make sense.

You have hundreds of dreams a night, but you don't remember the majority of them.
I think the psycology behind dreams is so interesting.

Jenny, search the internet and see if you can find one of those websites or books or something that explain what certain things mean in dreams. That will help you understand your reaccuring dream.

Like when people die in dreams it doesn't literally mean death. It usually means fear of the future or of someone or a struggle, etc.

[One of the few things I actually learned in AP psych... ]

I had a dream that my friends dog Gracie was shot! It was horrifying. Kind of an odd drean really..... Have I told you all about my "Civil war at Grandmas" dream?

I would love to have this dream! I think I would wake up and start laughing.

I typed up a couple of my dreams because I ALWAYS forget them.

I remember this dream from a long time ago:
Me and my dad were in the car and my dad got out of the car and the car was automatically driving me to day care or something. Me and the car are going over this cliff like thing and the car just falls off...

Another dream is me and my family go back in time. (Our house got destroyed by Hurricane Rita, literally lol.. this wasn't in the dream) We go back to around Christmastime and go look around my old house. It seems very empty and the house is very different.
In the same dream we go a little more in the future to when we are living in our FEMA trailer, and there are secret doors in the bottom of the closets that go to this really cool underground room.

This dream is very stupid - I am with my friend Autumn and some other people, and we go outside and our friend is hiding behind a car. We tell him he can come in, and that is all I remember.

I have this dream every wednesday. Never fails. Every Wednesday.

Yes I looked it up and it said.

Death is usually a symbolism of anger towards someone. Babies mean a re birth, or starting over. Looking out a window in a dream symbolizes an outlook at someone's dream. It poses sort of like an overview. Drowning represents being flooded with something. This something can be almost anything, ranging from work to attention. Dreaming about the night suggests that the dreamer is unsure about a few things. This is not especially the 'bad' killing, but it can be. More often killing is the killing off of a habit or childish things. If it is the bad killing then the dream has killed of his will to live. This represents that much effort has been put into a project or development, but there is nothing to show for it.

So I don't know. The weirdest thing is it happens every Wednesday. Never fails. I always try to clear my mind on these days, but it never works.

I had one dream, where my friend Cheston gets all mad at me. Then another one of our friends, Zach, attacks me! SO I get him off me, and this dude Cody jumps in. some how, I end up punching that kid in the head and he died. SO I felt really scared the rest of the dream.

Another, I'm on this giant ship, except, it grinds across the ground instead of the water. SO there is a storm, and the whole ship is rocking. However, I look out the window and there is nothing going on. SO I go out there, and I decide its a good idea to stand on the railing. I fall off, this is about 20-25 stories up. I hit the ground, and there are some random girls there to help me up. I'm ok, and everyone claps for me. SOmehow, I ended up going out to eat with those chicks and their mom.

I had a pirates dream. We were at some place. We saw a toddler Captain Jack Sparrow. He was cute, until he took out he sword. :l Then he put the sword next to my leg.
When I woke up, I swore I felt some metal next to my leg. Weird.
