Weird Dolphin Encounter Question

We are going to be booking our excursions VERY soon(so excited, we can't stand it). My 9 year old twins would like to do the Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel(thru Disney). They can go in alone, so we don't have to pay for us to do it.

Here is my question. When it is time for the excursion to leave, are they going to let us accompany them, or do we have to meet over at Canakhub? I can't imagine they would take them without us. I guess the other alternative is this is a way to make at least one more person pay for the excursion.

Thanks!

I am not sure what Disney would do in this situation so I would call them. They may let one of you ride along with them. I would not let my girls go by themselves because even though they walk you out as a group, they then put you into individual taxis to take you to Canakhub. I don't know if you have ever been in a taxi in Mexico, but even I was a little nervous.

I would call Disney and explain the situation and see what they say.

Why not book the dolphin encounter on your own through the vendor. I know of several families who have done it this way. You can take a cab ride to the park and then only pay for your kids to participate.

Just another option.

I tried to do that, but you cannot book it independantly on the day that the Magic is in port. It is offered every other day of the week. You can only book the swim, but then one of us has to book as well because our twins would not be allowed in the water without a paying adult.
