Weird DDP/ ME question

Hi-

We are going to WDW the week of Thanksgiving. We are using points to stay in a 1-Bd room. Parents are also going down for the first five nights of our stay (we are staying 7) but through CRO in a studio. We already have our ME docs. If we switch DS (11) to their room and add the DDP to our stay. Can we add him for the last 2 nights without adding him to the DDP? Also, could he still come home on ME with us? We don't need a key for him, if he could just switch to our room but still use ME with us, that would be great.

The DDP requires that all persons occupying the room be on the DDP for the entire length of the reservation. You can not, under Disney policy, add him for two nights without paying DDP for him for the entire length of stay. The ability of DVC to split reservations and add/drop guests (basically a pick-n-choose DDP) caused problems within the system, and DVC will no longer segment stays.

You will need to choose to have the DDP, including your son, for your 7 day visit or not have the DDP.
