Weird Carryon Question....

I have looked on the TSA Website and this item is not listed as prohibited, but......

I want to carryon a water hose.

Here's the deal, DH drove down with the camper, I'm flying down tomorrow. I just happened to go to Wal-Mart at lunch today and found the exact fresh water hose we've been needing for the camper and found it on sale!! So I grabbed it.

I'm not checking luggage, and as a matter of fact, my only carryon would be that water hose, my wallet, and cell phone.

(All of the rest of my needs are allready packed in the camper)

Whaddya think??

Why do you think this would be a problem? Put it in a bag and carry it on.

I guess I'm just thinking long rope-type item that could be wrapped around someone's neck or something.

Most of the items prohibited are items that could be used as a weapon, and ostensibly this could also.
