I've added regular strength training to my workouts in the past year, and I'm wondering what the weight situation is in the gym. I've only used the cardio equipment before.
 
I've seen free weights and weight machines in the gyms on 3 of the ships I've been on. Shouldn't be an issue getting in a strength workout while on board.
 
They definitely go up to 50 lbs and possibly higher. I'm sure I recall doing sumo squats with an 80 lb weight although that was a few years ago.
 
Agreed that there are plenty of weight though space is limited...there are a lot of machines.
