I'm new to the WISH board. I'm commiting myself to eating healthy - not only to lose weight, but more importantly, to lower my skyrocketing cholesterol (over 300)
So I'm asking for any insight on Weight Watchers and LA Weightloss. I'm somewhat familier with Weight Watchers as I've scoured thier website. LA Weightloss doesn't mention much on their website about their program...
Anyhow, both are in my area and I do plan on attending meetings. So, that's me....needing to lose a little bit of weight and a LOT of cholesterol
Any insight would be much appreciated .
Thanks in advance!

Welcome and Best WISHes!!!!
and I feel great!! My goal date is April 13, 2006, just around the corner. Their plan is easy, and the difference between them and WW, in which I did loose 12 pounds on, but gained it back......LA teaches you about fats, proteins, starches, dairy, etc. How to portion your food intake vs. WW, with the point system, too much to choose from you can eat anything, too tempting for me. So if you follow the LA plan, you still have a great choose of foods, and the weight comes off. Between 2 of my girlfriends, they lost 60 pounds!!!! So I saw the results!!! and again, I would pay any amount to be healthy and feel and look great!! It's up to you!!
