For those of you who have access to the WW site, I was wondering what you can tell me about. What do you like about the site, what do you use often? Are you able to input your recipes for a makeover or input recipes to get a points value? I have an invitation for a free week and I was thinking about trying it out, but then I look at the cost for membership and wonder if it is really worth it or not. I would love to hear what your opinions are!

Thanks.

well, first, i'd like to ask you some questions :)

i see you are doing ww already...does that mean you're going to meetings? because i think that if you're going to meetings, you would use ww e-tools (which is online), and not the online membership that i have (it is my only ww source...i don't do meetings). e-tools i think is cheaper than just online.

i think ww e-tools and ww online are pretty similar, not sure what the differences are. i know with my version, i can put in a recipe and it will tell me how many points. it won't revamp it though. i love the online points tracker, i don't have to write things down, i just type them in online. there's a recipe search thing too. i don't know if this is available for non members, but it might be.

hope this helps.

No, I do not go to meetings. I live in Italy and there are none at my disposal. I follow WW on my own from the old 1,2,3 Success literature I had from a few years ago.

I just resigned up. I pondered the same thing, should I, shouldn't I, is it worth it, etc., etc., However, I tried a few times last year to get going on WW again after the birth of my second child by doing it on my own and it just wasn't working for me. I decided to give the online version a try again (I had used it before to the success of 25+ pounds lost...and then got pregnant!) and I am liking what I get for it and my first week I lost 4.8 pounds. (I have ALOT to lose so I know alot of people may not lose that much in the beginning)

That being said, it looks like you have done really well doing it on your own and I am not sure if you are doing so well, you really need it. But for me, $14.95 is a small price to pay per month to encourage me on my weight loss and help me track it.

There is no harm in doing the free trial, see if you like it and it is beneficial, and if not, just drop it. :) But for me, its been worth it and it was last time too. :)

I've been doing WW online for about a month now. It works out very well for me. Easy to look up foods and points, easy to track everything, and it is very nice to be able to look at everything in a week at a time format and all.

I say give the free week trial a go. See if you sign on and use it enough to make it worthwhile. Also, you may not like the new flex point set up. I can't remember whose post it was, but someone tried switching from the 123 points to the flex points and just didn't like it. It worked for me, but everyone is different.

Debbi, I started by trying the week free also. I thought I'd spend a week printing everything I could and then, just cancel but, I find it so helpful and, FUN actually. I can enter my meals daily and weekly, in advance. Enter a recipe and it converts to points. Look up anything they have available, point-wise (I'm shocked sometimes at the amount of info available) and, just keep track, in general. There's a progress chart for your weight also. For me, it's much cheaper online. I think the meetings are $10-$12 week and, the online is $15/month. First 3 months is different tho, it averages to $20/mo, I think, with 'registration'.

Definately try the free week, what have you got to "LOSE"? ;)
