HI!! You have a made a great choice. I joined WW this summer (late June) and have lost almost 20 lbs. WW works!!
Look in some of the paperwork you got and there is a list of 0 point foods that are great to keep on hand. I like Smart Ones for lunches and when my family is eating something I don't want to eat such as fast food. My fave one is the pasta primavera (5 points). The WW desserts are good for a treat too. Orville Redenbacher(sp) Smart Pop popcorn is 95% Fat free. The whole bag is 2 points. I like 100 calorie packs for a snack too. Most are 2 points. I know I have listed mostly snacks. I have been snacking more than I should lately. Progresso has soups that I enjoy that are 0 or 1 points. I also recommend making the WW veggie soup(0 points) to keep on hand. I like to eat it for lunch when I know I am having dinner out or for dinner when I have used most of my points during the day.
Also, don't forget to use your 35 points each week.
