weighing scale issue

I have a weighing scale at home but don't entirely trust it so for my official weigh-in i use a scale located in a shop. My weigh-in day is Thursday.

I was in the shop today and i noticed the scale had an out of order sign on it. Now my problem is, on Thursday if the scale is still broken what do i do? There is another scale nearby but i don't like weighing myself on different scales as there's usually a difference in the calibration.

So should i use the other scales, not weigh myself this week or what? Any comments appreciated.

Hi IrishAngel

I would use the scale at home & the one at the near by shop - if you have been using the one at home as well as the official one (the broken one) you may be able to judge what the differences are.

I hate to say this but you may find that the calibration on the out of order one may have changed after it is fixed. They could have tightened or loosened things and so on!! Boy I am so mechanically minded!! But I hope it is up and running by Thursday for you!
