I assume that you can request fresh deli items (like sliced meats and cheese) instead of prepackaged deli items. Is that true?

We used them on our last trip and I'm pretty sure you can request anything you would like. I emailed her after my original list went about fresh fruit and organic items we wanted, and they were fantastic about everthing.

I requested deli meats & sliced cheese. I got Boar's Head & Land O' Lakes cheese as requested. I thought a really nice touch that I don't see here in Jersey was that they put a piece of the wrapping film in between each slice of cheese & meat. WeGo is very accomidating & comes highly recommended in my opinion... Take care.

rarebit1974, oh my gosh the paper between the cheese is what my DM was upset about when she moved to upstate NY from NJ, she didn't want to pay for the paper!! LOL....less waste is what I think.

We don't get that here in NY, either - but when I was visiting family in AL I did some grocery shopping and noticed the same thing. It sure does make it a lot neater and easier to separate the slices!

WeGo does seem to get great reviews here - I'm looking forward to giving the service a try!
