Weeks in December?

We are thinking of going to WDW in December and were wondering how the crowds differ. Are the crowds bigger during the week of Christmas versus the first 2 weeks of December? Christmas day is on a Monday this year and we were thinking of going Dec. 24th to December 29th. What do you guys think? We've never been during Christmas before and would really like to see WDW at Christmas time!!

The early part of December is almost exclusive, the crowds are so small. The week between Christmas and New Years is the most crowded time you will ever see. JAMMED is more like it.

The week of Christmas is the busiest time of year and Ii do not think we would ever go at that time. Early December is always a good time to go. As a matter of fact, last year we went the week before Christmas and the crowds were not bad. We are thinking on going again this year around the same time.

Since you are posting this on the DVC boards, I am assuming you are planning on staying at a DVC resort. While the crowds at the parks might be light, the crowds at the DVC resorts are another thing altogether.

December is a very popular time at DVC so your ability to book at a DVC resort is limited at best and probably non existant at worse. If you read some of the other posts on these boards you will see that BCV, VWL and BWV all have waiting lists for rooms during this period.

B/4 you get your hopes up too high, contact MS to make check on availability of the resort you have in mind.
