weeknight fireworks in september?

I checked the typical hours of operation for September and see that on weekdays Disneyland usually closes at 8pm during the week we'll be there. My 2 year old daughter has been watching the Disney vacation video (she calls it the "Mickey balloons movie") and says that she wants to see the "firefighters" (her word for "fireworks"). Will they have fireworks on weeknights, is it dark enough at park closing? Or should we try to catch them sunday night, our only weekend night at the park?

We've been there a lot in September. They don't have fireworks on the weeknights but they did on the weekends. I'm not positive if they were Fri-Sun or just some of the weekend nights. Have fun!

According to past schedules, there are no weekday fireworks after Labor Day. They were on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights in September.
