I was reading in the Econoguide last night (which admittantly, is chock full of mistakes), but it mentions that if you are staying at a Disney Resort for a week or longer, to ask for a weekly rate and a manager will take some of the price off. That sounds false to me. You book through CRO and I don't even imagine they have the authority to take anything off. I've also never heard or read anyone saying that could be done.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I've never heard that. I've admittedly never tried it.

I've been given discounts for our 10 day stay offsite but never onsite. I did ask when booking our 2006 and our 2007 onsite stays and both times were told there was no such thing.

I have seen a few people that are staying a month or thereabouts, I wonder if they might be likely to be able to negotiate a discount.

First I ever heard of that and doubt that. Maybe the Econoguide is only for those who stay at an Econolodge. :lmao: ;)
